The Cupboard of Kindness was established in 2001 at the Trinitarian Church in Norton. We began helping 15-20 families, but quickly outgrew our location. The Norton Police Department graciously donated a garage that was no longer in use, and this is now the present location of the pantry. We are right next to Norton's Town Hall. The Cupboard is not affiliated with any religious organization. We currently serve 50-60 families at our twice-monthly distributions with the help of our loyal volunteers.

The Cupboard of Kindness Food Pantry is open the first and third Mondays of the month from 4:30-6:30 PM. Please check our calendar below for exact dates of our distributions. The only requirement to receive food at the Cupboard is to show proof of residency in the town of Norton. We are happy to discuss other needs that you may have, and will do our best to refer you to appropriate resources or agencies whenever possible.
You may come to the pantry to register during the hours we are open. New recipients are asked to fill out our registration form which is kept confidential. The amount of food given is based on the number people in your household. If you would like to fill out the form ahead of time, it is available here:
You will be asked to show proof of identification and residency by providing a driver's license and a recent bill (within 30 days) showing your home address. We cannot always offer a consistent amount of food since our stock depends on the donations given by various people and organizations. We will do our best to offer you a variety of food staples for your family. We also try to be mindful of dietary restrictions, but you will be responsible for selecting food items appropriate to your needs.
Please note the dates when the pantry is open. If there are any changes, due to weather or holidays, they will be noted on the calendar.
